FOR THIS existing home in Melbourne, adding a brick shaft to the rear of the garage to provide access to the upper level was way too easy. To best suit the floorplan, an adjacent through car configuration was the best layout.
The ElfoLift has been supplied with powdercoated panoramic glass doors, Arpa 0509 Fin Erre wall panels, brushed stainless steel profiles and flush vertical car operating panel and full size mirror. The floor of the cabin was finished with the same distinctive timber flooring as laid in the rest of the stately home.
A beautiful result with impressive door jambs created by the extra thick existing walls that needed to be opened up to create the door openings. The blockwork shaft on the side of the home was also rendered and detailed in an exact match to the existing home – looks like it has always been there.
