With a solid structure offered by this former commercial building, the owners capitalised on the opportunity to convert the building into a private residential dwelling.

With an emphasis on retaining the already present dominant features of face brickwork, exposed sandstone and natural timbers, it was important to have all other inclusions also seamlessly blend in – including the 3 level lift.

For this project, the lift of choice was the ever popular and versatile E1. The 350kg, 0.3m/s lift has a generous cabin size of 1200mm wide x 1200mm deep and cabin fitout of F12PPS Similinox skinplate walls, half height mirror and handrail, A1 Bianco skinplate ceiling with spotlights and brushed stainless steel finishes. The 900mm wide steel doors were painted locally in a dark texture paint to match the rustic and industrial components elsewhere.
