DURING 2011 when plans for the old Kingston Butter Factory were being developed, it was only natural that limited mobility access between the two levels were also included. Fast forward to the Community Arts Centre and Museum that it has become and our ElfoLift and glass shaft sits proudly in the middle of the building.
To provide easier access to and from the lift at each level, automatic door opener/closers have been fitted. To provide more light and sense of security, the rear wall of the cabin is a full size glass panel. By providing a steel and glass shaft, the amount of building works were minimised and allowed for less impact on the original building structure.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column]
