Future Proof

AS STAIRS were becoming an issue in this cherished family home and moving was not an option, the owners decided the best solution was to install a lift.   With close consultation, Lift Shop retrofitted a 320kg 1100mm x 1400mm FreedomLift 2.

The cabin was fitted with two mirror walls, a striking red feature wall (8830 red composite) and a polished ceiling. To offset this a white stone floor was installed (Snow white) and anodised aluminium framed glass doors on each landing.

To make sure the lift could fit into the property, extensive building works were carried out. One part of this was shrinking the large master bathroom to cater for the shaft. In the end this certainly paid off because it looks like the lift has always been there.

Overall a seamless project that the owners can now enjoy for many years to come.
