McMahons Point, Sydney

Four levels above the harbour

Lift Shop installed a 4-level E Series home lift in McMahons Point, on the edge of Sydney Harbour. A full-height clear glass rear wall keeps the light moving through the cabin.

The rebuilt home rises over four levels on the McMahons Point peninsula, close to the water and a short ferry ride from the city. Light-filled living rooms, bedrooms with harbour outlooks and a top floor that frames the view make every level worth using. A luxury home lift makes sure they all get used, every day and at every age.

A harbour home on four floors

The McMahons Point peninsula runs down to the water, with the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House in view. Homes here climb the slope to catch the harbour.

This one spreads across four levels. The E Series links all of them, so the view from the top floor is one ride from the street.

The E Series

The flagship, specified for light

The E Series is The Flagship of the range. Here the cabin side walls and ceiling are Skinplate in a brushed stainless look, and the rear wall is full-height clear glass.

A vertical control panel, an integrated flush phone and four LED spots finish the cabin. White swing doors sit quietly in the walls at each landing.

SafetyIn Cabin Self Rescue

Rescue built in

Like every Lift Shop lift, it carries In Cabin Self Rescue. If the power fails, the cabin lowers to the nearest floor and the doors open. A GSM emergency phone is standard.

The builder constructed a masonry shaft to our engineering drawings, with a 150 mm pit.

Why it works
