Inside Outside
In Dover Heights, the E2 home lift sits inside a glass shaft that forms an architectural corner of the house, with views of the private courtyard and the pond around it. The project was a collaboration between C M Hairis Architects, Evidis Construction and the Lift Shop team.
The lift serves all three levels.
Brushed stainless steel and full-size glass panels were used for both the cabin walls and the landing doors, which keeps the lift transparent, durable and modern.
A brown marble floor and a Labirint pattern ceiling add depth to a minimal palette, and a Dedalo digital position indicator on the car operating panel adds a smart touch.

From the courtyard the shaft reads as part of the glasswork of the house, and from inside the cabin you look out over the courtyard.
