As part of an extensive renovation to this character-filled Brisbane residence, the homeowners wanted to make multi-level living more practical while preserving the unique charm of the home. The answer? A three-level ElfoLift installed with impeccable attention to style and finish — seamlessly blending contemporary comfort with classic craftsmanship.
Lift Shop worked closely with the design team to ensure the lift would feel like a natural part of the home’s architecture. From its discreet placement to the materials used, every detail was carefully considered for visual harmony and daily functionality.
The black steel landing doors were powdercoated in RAL 9004 and finished with an aluminium skin for a smooth, seamless surface. Fume black glass panels added a touch of subdued luxury, reflecting the home’s darker accents and lending a sense of sophistication.
Inside the cabin, the walls were finished in Similinox skinplate — a refined metallic texture that paired perfectly with the brushed stainless steel handrail and subtle half-height mirror. A crisp white ceiling with integrated LED downlights created a clean, bright interior that made the lift feel spacious and welcoming.
But the true design standout was the floor: laid in hand-cut Italian tiles, it echoed the intricate pattern found in the adjacent foyer landing, creating a sense of flow and artisanal detail. This was more than a lift — it was a design statement, executed with the same care as the rest of the home.
The final result was so successful that the builder behind the project was inspired to commission an ElfoLift for his own home — a testament to both the process and the product.
