Balgowlah, Sydney

Black from door to ceiling

Lift Shop installed an A Series home lift in Balgowlah, near the water on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Black swing doors open on a matt black cabin with a full-height mirror.

This brand-new, architect-designed home sits on a 613 m² block near the water, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a low-maintenance layout made for easy living. It was designed to be lived in for decades, not just a few years. A luxury lift makes both levels easy to reach today and keeps the home ready for whatever comes next.

The A Series

One colour, every surface

The landing doors are black steel with no glass. Inside, matt black Skinplate covers the walls and ceiling, and a full-height mirror on the rear wall brings back the light.

Brushed stainless trims and a control panel add a single metallic line. The cabin opens on two opposite sides, so it meets each floor where it is needed.

The All-Rounder

The A Series is The All-Rounder of the range. Here it carries In Cabin Self Rescue, a GSM emergency phone and a full-height mirror as standard.

The builder constructed a masonry shaft to our drawings.

Why it works

All black

Black doors and a black cabin read as one design.

Two-sided access

Opposite entrances suit the floor plan on each level.

A matching pair

Two identical A Series lifts were installed on the project.
