With a distinctive and prominent position in this elegant new home in Sydney’s Randwick, the ElfoLift 2 makes an unforgettable first impression. Serving as both a practical vertical transport solution and an architectural statement, the lift was intentionally placed in a high-visibility zone, ensuring it becomes an integral part of the home’s sophisticated design narrative.
Because of its feature placement, the owners were meticulous about finishes. Frameless glass landing doors with brushed stainless steel fittings were chosen for every level, mirroring the same premium materials used throughout the home. These choices reflect not only the home’s contemporary character but also its owners’ commitment to detail and refinement.
Inside the cabin, the lift continues to impress. The walls and ceiling are finished in PPS1 Grigio skinplate, delivering a muted, high-end aesthetic that complements the brushed stainless steel profiles and half-height mirror feature. For added visual harmony, the flooring was supplied and installed by the homeowner, tying the lift seamlessly into the surrounding interior design.
One of the standout design touches is the minimalist car operating panel. Instead of using a traditional panel, the digital display and controls were integrated directly into the corner profile of the lift — a sleek detail that elevates the lift’s streamlined look and gives it a custom feel.
To complete the striking aesthetic, the front face of the shaft was clad in stone tiling, reinforcing the lift’s presence as a bold architectural statement. The combination of natural materials and cutting-edge design results in a lift installation that is both functional and artfully considered.
This project was a standout collaboration between C M Hairis Architects, Evidis Construction, and our own Lift Shop team. Designed to integrate beautifully with the home’s layout, the E2 home lift sits proudly inside a glass shaft that forms a striking architectural corner of the house — offering views of the private courtyard and surrounding pond.
Serving all three levels, the E2 lift was intentionally finished with clean, contemporary materials. Brushed stainless steel and full-size glass panels were used for both the cabin walls and landing doors, delivering transparency, durability, and modern flair.
Adding depth and contrast to the minimalist base palette, the cabin was enhanced with a brown marble floor and a Labirint pattern ceiling. The inclusion of a Dedalo digital position indicator on the car operating panel added smart functionality to the high-end aesthetic.
With precision engineering and seamless collaboration, the lift became a defining feature of the home — not just for its functionality but as a statement of refined, integrated design.
In Sydney’s Northern Beaches, a beautiful family home gained renewed accessibility through the thoughtful installation of a two-level ElfoLift. The project was a seamless collaboration between Carter Williamson Architects and the Lift Shop team, ensuring the solution matched the home’s architecture and the owners’ lifestyle needs.
As mobility across the three-level home became more challenging, this elegant solution allowed the homeowners to remain in their cherished residence. The cabin’s interior was finished with a combination of F12PPS Similinox and brushed stainless steel profiles, creating a cohesive, clean design. The ceiling was upgraded with LED surround lights to elevate the cabin’s ambient appeal.
One of the most distinctive visual choices was made on the landings: Inox Nero Satinato doors. These dark-toned brushed stainless steel doors added a striking contrast and a refined, architectural aesthetic that elevated the entire experience of the lift.
With comfort, style, and thoughtful planning, this project is a prime example of how integrating a home lift can be both practical and visually impactful.
In the scenic beachside suburb of Clareville, a modern four-level residence was enhanced with the seamless addition of an ElfoLift 2 to ensure smooth movement throughout the home. With sweeping views and a smartly considered floor plan, the lift’s opposite through car configuration offered a functional and stylish solution for vertical mobility.
To ensure a cohesive integration with the rest of the home, the finishes were chosen for their simplicity and impact. The entire cabin and shaft featured F41PPS skinplate for a clean, uniform aesthetic, while both the cabin and landing doors were fitted with full size clear glass panels to maintain visibility and natural light flow.
The home itself is richly accented with timberwork — from staircases to cabinetry and feature walls — and this warm, organic palette surrounds the lift installation as well. The lift’s clean lines and reflective surfaces create an appealing contrast to the timber, delivering a sophisticated balance of materials.
This project exemplifies the power of thoughtful integration — where modern engineering complements architectural style — and showcases how Lift Shop lifts can elevate both the form and function of a luxury coastal home.
