Retiring With Style
Mount Pleasant, Perth
In the scenic suburb of Mount Pleasant, Perth, this brand-new two-level home was designed not only for immediate comfort but also with future convenience in mind. The owners were determined to build a home that would adapt to their needs over time, and that included eliminating potential mobility challenges down the track. For that reason, they chose to install a sleek ElfoLift during the construction process, ensuring seamless vertical access from day one.
From the start, the vision for the home was clean, modern, and uncluttered: a fresh architectural style that emphasized simplicity and sophistication. To match this aesthetic, Lift Shop provided a customised ElfoLift with solid, near-concealed doors that visually blend into the surrounding interiors, maintaining the flow of the home's contemporary design.
Inside the cabin, the finishes were selected to complement the broader material palette. The walls were completed in Similinox skinplate, offering a soft brushed metallic texture that is both stylish and easy to maintain. A white ceiling fitted with LED downlights provided soft, even lighting throughout the lift, while polished stainless steel trims added a touch of precision and shine to elevate the interior.
The floor of the lift was matched to the gloss timber landings outside, creating a seamless transition and reinforcing the sense that the lift belongs in the home, not as a feature, but as an essential, well-integrated detail.
The end result is a lift that delivers effortless movement and long-term peace of mind while preserving the home's visual integrity. The owners are thrilled with the outcome, and confident that this subtle addition will serve them for decades to come.
Every element was designed to make the lift feel like a natural extension of the home, rather than an afterthought.
