When the owners of this property set out to include a lift in their home renovation, they were faced with a significant challenge: limited space. However, Lift Shop’s expert team was able to overcome this constraint by providing a sleek and efficient solution with our small E1 lift.
After carefully considering the available options, the E1 model stood out as the ideal choice. Thanks to our “size to suit” technology, we were able to install a 600mm x 1120mm opposite through-car lift—perfectly sized to fit within the tight space while still providing easy access between floors. This custom fit ensured the lift didn’t overwhelm the home’s design, and instead, enhanced its functionality.
The finishes were carefully selected to complement the property’s modern aesthetic. The landing doors were finished in anodized aluminium, paired with clear glass to maintain an open and airy feel. Inside the cabin, the walls were cladded with RHS Blu Stellato B41SMM, accented by a half mirror and handrail, giving the cabin a sleek and functional look. The profiles, COP, and ceiling were finished in F41PPS stainless steel look, offering a clean, polished appearance that ties the cabin design together. The floor was finished in Touch 2410 stone, contributing both durability and luxury to the cabin.
Despite the small size, the E1 lift easily covers a 3300mm travel distance, making it the perfect choice for this multi-level home. The lift was housed within a custom glass shaft built by the homeowner’s builder, which not only provides a modern aesthetic but also allows for natural light to filter through, further enhancing the home’s openness.
The result? A seamless integration of luxury, efficiency, and design—perfectly suited to the homeowner’s space and needs. This small E1 lift proves that even in the most constrained spaces, a high-quality, functional lift is achievable without compromising on style or performance.
