After 30 years of cherished memories in their family home, the owners decided it was time to renovate—transforming their property into a modern, sustainable space that would carry them through the next 30 years. To ensure their home was both functional and future-proof, they brought in Lift Shop to install a custom 2-stop E1 home elevator, a perfect addition to their long-term vision.
As with all our projects, Lift Shop worked closely with the clients to deliver a bespoke solution that met their unique needs. The swing door was finished in steel with a custom finish provided by the client, ensuring that the lift’s design seamlessly integrated with the home’s overall aesthetic. This personalized touch allowed the lift to blend beautifully with the interior design, adding a unique character while still delivering all the functionality the owners required.
The walls of the lift cabin were crafted from galvanised material, also finished with a custom finish selected by the client. This ensured the cabin’s interior maintained the home’s cohesive design while offering a robust and durable surface. The unique finishes contributed to a modern, yet timeless look that would continue to complement the home for many years to come.
The ceiling was designed with LED spots, finished in Bianco A1, providing efficient, yet soft lighting that adds warmth and ambiance to the cabin. The lighting design was an important aspect of this project, creating a welcoming atmosphere while being energy-efficient—perfectly aligning with the home’s sustainability goals.
For the car operating panel (COP), the lift was fitted with brushed stainless steel for a polished, modern finish. This material ensures both durability and elegance, offering a refined look that doesn’t compromise on the ease of use.
The floor was another custom design by the client, ensuring that every detail of the lift aligned with the overall aesthetic of the home. The bespoke flooring not only enhances the visual appeal of the lift but also ties in perfectly with the rest of the home’s renovation.
The cabin size of 900mm x 1300mm was ideal for the home’s layout, offering spacious movement while maintaining a compact profile. The travel distance of 3650mm ensures the lift provides easy access between the two levels of the home, offering smooth, reliable vertical movement throughout the space.
This installation highlights how Lift Shop’s custom lift solutions can meet the needs of homeowners looking to future-proof their property while enhancing both style and functionality. By blending sustainable design with luxury and practicality, this home is now perfectly equipped to last for another 30 years and beyond.
