A Series Home Lift With Ocean Views in Freshwater

Freshwater, Sydney

A lift that rides along with the view

Lift Shop installed an A Series home lift in an oceanfront home in Freshwater, Sydney. It serves three levels with a glass-sided cabin and swing doors, so the sea stays in view from the moment the doors close to the moment they open.

The house is built to face the water. Walls of glass, glass balustrades and a long open plan pull the horizon into every room. The lift had to do the same, and the clear cabin wall does exactly that.

Open plan, open stair, one clear line to the sea

The living level opens around a stair void, with a glass balustrade, pale herringbone timber floors and the ocean beyond the dining table. Nothing in this house blocks the view, and the lift was planned to keep it that way.

A glass-sided cabin means the lift never becomes a dark box in the middle of the plan. The white-framed door at the landing matches the windows around it.

Swing doors keep the mechanism simple and the look clean. Open one on any level and the cabin is bright, framed by sky and water, ready to carry you to the next floor.

Every floor, indoors and out

The home runs from a marble kitchen and a wine storage wall to a sunrise terrace and a pool with its own outdoor kitchen. That is a lot of house to walk through with a tray, a bag or a tired knee.

One lift ties the levels together. Breakfast on the terrace, a swim, then the main bedroom. Every part of the home stays within a short ride.

Built for the long stay

A home on the water is a home people plan to keep. A lift in the plan means the owners never have to think about stairs, today or years from now.

The main bedroom looks straight out to sea. It is a fitting last stop for a lift that never loses sight of the view.

Why it works on the coast

The view stays in the plan

A glass-sided cabin keeps the sea in sight. The shaft feels like part of the open plan, not a block inside it.

Three levels, one ride

Three stops link the living floors, the terrace level and the bedrooms, so the whole house is within reach.

Backed for the long run

Every A Series lift carries an 8-year warranty, and Lift Shop has completed 12,000+ installs across Australia.
