This recently completed builder's own home near Brisbane has a futuristic design and close attention to detail. The three-level E1 home lift was a statement inclusion, chosen to suit the high-end look of the house.
The anodised aluminium doors have frosted glass panels that filter soft light into the cabin. The cabin is a spacious 1100mm wide by 1400mm deep, and the 2100mm ceiling height adds to the sense of scale.
High-gloss Arpa 0509 laminate wall panels sit beside a full-height rear mirror, for a bright, elegant space. The handrail and the vertical car operating panel are polished stainless steel, and the high-gloss tiled floor has a border in a complementary design.
The lift carries 4 or more people at a travel speed of 0.3m/s.
