Blending personal heritage with coastal lifestyle, the owners of this two-level Sydney apartment sought to recreate the essence of Mediterranean island living — calm, breezy, elevated. Central to this transformation was the installation of a custom ElfoLift, offering secure, private access from the lower commercial level to their serene waterfront residence above.
Lift Shop was engaged to deliver a lift that would not only function with discretion and reliability, but also complement the aesthetic vision. The result is a three-stop ElfoLift featuring an adjacent through car configuration, allowing effortless transition between levels — from street-level entry to balcony-side serenity, all while capturing glimpses of the bay along the way.
The lift was finished in powdercoated steel, a clean and enduring material choice, paired with milk white glass doors that evoke the luminous tones of Greek architecture. On the lower commercial level, a solid steel door was added to enhance privacy and security, ensuring separation between public space and private retreat. This subtle but essential feature reflects how our residential lifts are always designed with both lifestyle and function in mind.
The lift cabin mirrors this elegant restraint — practical yet refined, delivering the same quality and style one might expect from a villa in Santorini, now set against the backdrop of Sydney’s shimmering harbour. Overlooking the water and opening directly onto private balconies, the lift enables movement that feels as light and seamless as the lifestyle it supports.
