Black doors, black cabin

Lift Shop installed a 3-level E Series home lift in Sylvania, in Sydney's south. Black frosted glass doors open on a matt black cabin with a full-height mirror.

The home is a neoclassical new build with columns, arched windows, wrought-iron balconies, herringbone floors and panelled walls. It is one of a pair of twin dwellings, finished to a standard well above the street. A home with this much detail deserved a lift to match, in matt black with a full-height mirror.

The E Series

One dark, consistent finish

Matt black Skinplate covers the cabin walls, and a full-height mirror on the side wall opens up the space. Brushed stainless trims and a control panel catch the light.

The landing doors are black aluminium with frosted glass, so the lift carries the same dark tone from the hallway into the cabin.

The Flagship

The E Series is The Flagship of the range. This one carries In Cabin Self Rescue and a GSM emergency phone as standard.

The builder constructed the shaft to our drawings, and the lift was handed over in September 2025.

Why it works

Dark and consistent

Black doors and a black cabin read as one design.

Mirror for space

A full-height mirror makes the cabin feel larger.

Twin homes

Each of the two dwellings has its own lift.
