In an exclusive new development overlooking the sparkling Broadwater in Labrador on the Gold Coast, two penthouse apartments have been fitted with their own private internal lifts — setting a new benchmark for luxury, convenience, and future-ready design. These bespoke home elevators not only offer practical access but enhance the elegance and market appeal of each residence, proving that elevated living isn’t just a phrase — it’s a lifestyle.
With the compact flexibility of the ElfoLift, both penthouses were able to incorporate tailored lift cabins within tight architectural footprints. The selected cabin size — 850mm wide x 990mm deep — was ideal for these premium apartments, where efficient space usage was essential without compromising comfort or functionality. The lift configuration fit naturally within the multi-level layouts, creating seamless transitions between floors without disrupting design flow.
To reflect the clean, minimalist aesthetic of the apartments, the lift interiors were finished in two of our most stylish new Italian skinplates: A32PP (high-gloss bianco white) for brightness and contemporary flair, and F41PPS (brushed stainless steel effect) for texture and contrast. These selections were paired with half-height mirrors and polished stainless steel handrails, subtly expanding the visual space inside each cabin.
Further attention to detail was seen in the cabin flooring, where custom porcelain tiles were selected by the owners to match the main apartment floors. This ensured full visual integration and continuity across all levels — a subtle but impactful design choice that unifies the lift as part of the apartment, not just an added feature.
These installations demonstrate how even in compact environments, thoughtful lift design can enhance both daily life and long-term property value. Combining architectural polish with ease of movement, they represent the ultimate in luxury apartment living.
