Register for your Phone Firmware upgrade

Telstra has recently announced a new upgrade to its network, which will affect the operation of your lift telephone system. Please be aware of the following important information:

After 31 August 2024, your lift telephone will no longer work if it uses a Telstra, ALDI, Boost, Woolworths, or Belong SIM card.

• Important Details:

Other networks will also be making similar changes next year.
This issue is not caused by Lift Shop or the 4G GSM unit we supplied; it is due to Telstra’s network upgrade.

• Required Actions:
• Check Your SIM Card:
• Determine if your lift uses a SIM card on the Telstra Network. This is urgent.
• For Hydraulic Lifts:
• You can change the SIM card yourself to one from a non-Telstra network.
• Instructions for swapping SIM Card
• For Non-Hydraulic Lifts:
• Book a visit from a Lift Shop technician ASAP to perform the necessary firmware upgrade by contacting Lift Shop at [email protected]
• Charges will apply.
• Firmware Update:
• If you do not have a Telstra SIM, you have approximately 6 months before the firmware update becomes required.
