Spacious Plenty Residence Gains Effortless Vertical Access with Designer ElfoLift

Nestled in the semi-rural charm of Plenty, just outside of Melbourne, this elegant property enjoys the benefits of expansive land and an equally generous residence. Yet despite the home’s scale and layout, one vital feature was missing — simple, seamless access between floors.

Thanks to a collaborative approach between the original builder and Lift Shop, the solution was both stylish and straightforward. A custom opposite through car ElfoLift was designed and installed with minimal disruption — perfectly suited to the home’s generous proportions and timeless architecture.

The lift’s opposite through car configuration allows access from both sides at each level, offering intuitive and efficient movement throughout the home. This clever layout makes it easier for family members and guests to move about freely, regardless of which part of the home they’re entering or exiting from.

But functionality wasn’t the only focus — the design choices elevated this lift to a luxury statement. The doors were clad in polished stainless steel and fitted with full-size mirror glass panels, helping reflect light and create a feeling of depth. Inside the cabin, gloss black laminate walls from the Arpa range delivered a sleek, high-contrast finish, beautifully complemented by stone flooring and polished stainless steel profiles and ceiling.
